i almost thought this place would be delightful, but the eggs were overcooked—such a travesty for second breakfast. also, the sign is impossible to see. lastly, i woudl ve expected a room upgrade for my troubles, but no such luck! just couldn't give this a good review.

The location was quite hard to find. The signage was inadequate, hidden behind a bend in the road. Communication with the hosts felt slightly off as I raised concerns about the cups provided for coffee, which didn’t quite resonate with my preferences. I also felt that the garden seating areas, while a nice touch, were not well-maintained during my stay, impacting the overall experience.

Homemade treats with charming views
My stay at Costislost House was delightful, with an exceptionally cooked breakfast and cozy seating areas perfect for relaxing. The homemade shortbread was a charming touch!
On the downside, I would have appreciated daily room servicing during my two-night stay, as it felt a bit less complete without this attention to detail.

We had a lovely stay, truly enjoying the impressive breakfasts with a good variety, and the complimentary homemade shortbread was a delightful touch. The only downside was that the inclement weather made it tough to explore outside, but overall, I would certainly choose this place again.
